Here is a neat engraving idea for the
gardeners in your life:
My friend MaryAnn has a lovely garden. But she
didn't like those little plastic tags that are stuck in the plants when you buy
them. Her friend and fellow gardener, bought her some neat picks that should
could put the names of her plants on. MaryAnn tried several different ways
to use the picks. She Used paper and tape, markers and so on.
One night after talking, we thought of engraving
the darn things. She emailed me a list of her plants and I made some 1"x3" tags
in purple with white letters. I used a fancy font and they fit into her picks
nicely. MaryAnn's gardening friend loved MaryAnn's so much, that she
ordered some for her own garden. It makes it easy to tell the difference from
your Day Lily and Your Tiger Lily (Personally, I'm little Miss Black Thumb)
A neat Sublimation Idea:
Sublimation is full color printing on items from
name-tags, mugs, bookmarks, cutting boards and so on. Much more versatile than
engraving. We can actually sublimated your photo to something.
We are always playing around with new ideas. A
customer asked us to make a luggage tag for her grand-daughter. Instead of the
plain old boring tag, I suggested a full color tag. I thought it would be
neat to have different modes of transportation all around her name. Here is what
we came up with:

Very easy to spot in the baggage carousel!
Might even make a child want to carry their own bags for a bit. This would work
with an older child and a school backpack. You could send in the school logo or
something similar and your child's name.
Since this was for a younger child who had their
own cell phone, we suggested that they put Mom or Dad's cell phone number on the
tag instead. One can never be too careful these days.
I hope to get more images updated as time permits.
Thank you for stopping by.
