Before I started working here, I was not aware of all the different types of stamps out there. It never occurred to me to use stamps for gifts, or for anything else for that matter. . One of the first type of  stamp that I fell in love with was/is  called a Slim Stamp. It's a pre-inked stamp and good for up to about 25,000 impressions. However, the cool thing is how slim it really is. It is only about 3/4'' tall, about as tall as a guys thumb.

I toss mine into my purse, and keep it with me. When I told my friends that I was doing this, they thought I was more weird than normal. However, once I explained why, they all wanted them too!

The PSI Slim-Stamp 1854. It will fit up to 4 lines of copy. Its on special this month only, for $14.80.

Think of all the times you go to a bazaar,  craft fair, home show, and the type. Half of the fun is filling out all those little slips for contests and the like. I know my hand was pretty sore by the end of after going thru the whole craft fair. But, now I dig in my purse and pull out my Slim Stamp and just stamp those slips with my address and phone number. As a bonus,  I put my phone number on there as well. Now the boyfriend isn't sighing and rolling his eyes while waiting for me to fill out entries and other forms. I had one made for him too. Now, I don't have to wait for him to fill out stuff either. The Slim Stamp is a great time saver!!

Another idea for this stamp came to me when I was out and about having lunch with a girlfriend. I ran into an old friend who didn't know I had moved. She wanted my new address, and neither of us had a pen. In the past I would have ripped off my name and  address off my deposit slip. (Come on admit it, you have done the same thing! Half a checkbook of useless deposit slips.) Anyway, I just got a napkin and stamped my info on that.

My stamp is in purple ink, and stands out a bit. Yet, these stamps also come in red, blue, green, or black ink as well.  One of my girlfriends ordered this after going to a craft fair with me. and I was filling out all the contest forms with a flick of my stamp, and she was doing it the old fashioned way. How about ordering one for you and your friend for next time you go to a craft fair or something of the sort.

So, that is this months idea for new uses for our stamps. I will have something new each month. Feel free to send any suggestions you have I would love to share them with everyone. And I'm always looking for ideas as well.
